Setup

The Setup menu option allows you to access several areas of the application.

Using Setup, you can access the following options. Depending on the licenses that your institution is licensed for, some options are not available.

Chart of Accounts
You can add accounts or locate existing accounts on the Chart of Accounts setup page. The Chart of Accounts page is where all balance sheet and income statement accounts are housed within the application.
Prepay Tables
Use Setup > Prepay Tables to specify and save sets of model-specific prepayment speeds.
Decay Tables
The Setup > Decay Tables page allows you to create sets of date- and model-specific decay assumptions for non-maturity deposit accounts.
Key Rates
You can use the Key Rates setup page to store and maintain key rates that are used in the Profitability, Pricing, and Forecasting modules.
Supplemental Data
The Supplemental Data page lets you create and store various financial and non-financial accounts. These accounts are used throughout the application in ratios and formulas.
Ratios
You can set up ratios that are used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of financial institutions on the Ratios setup page.
Organization
The Organization page allows you to create a customized organizational structure to meet your reporting needs.
What If Models
The What If Models page allows you to create What If models that let you create and examine multiple forecasted scenarios.
Review Structure
You can set up a review structure hierarchy to define who users must submit their budgets to for approval on the Review Structure setup page. This functionality is used for Distributed Forecasting.
Setting Up Funds Transfer Pricing
On the Funds Transfer Pricing page, you can select the funds transfer pricing (FTP) method and other criteria that are used throughout the application for the FTP calculations associated with each defined product type.
Allocations
The Allocations page allows you to set up allocation rules and methodologies.
Assumptions
The Assumptions page allows you to access several setup pages that allow you to set assumptions that are used throughout the application.
Assign Ranks
You can set up a user-defined hierarchy for ranking relationships based on their value to the institution on the Assign Ranks page.
Display Settings
You can define settings that affect how specific information appears elsewhere in the application on the Display Settings page.
Setting Performance Objectives
You can set performance objectives on the Objectives Input page. Organization and officer performance are measured against these performance objectives later.
CECL
You can access several CECL setup pages that allow you to adjust settings for the Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) module.
Setup Notifications
Financial Performance Suite (FPS) can generate notifications and emails whenever particular events occur.
Manage Scorecards
You can set up scorecards on the Manage Scorecards setup page.
Managing APIs
Financial institutions can use existing APIs that Financial Performance Suite (FPS) has created for current expected credit losses (CECL), rate sheets, customer profitability, and key rates.
Manage Users
The Manage Users menu allows users with permission to modify user settings.
