Report Writer - Menu Bar Overview

You can access most of the Report Writer's functionality from the menu bar.

The menu bar includes the following options:

  • File
  • Edit
  • Insert
  • Format
  • Tools
  • Help

Select Help > About to view the version and the Software Usage Agreement.

  • Report Writer - File Menu
    The File menu in the Report Writer lets you access many options, including creating, opening, previewing, saving, importing, and exporting reports.
  • Report Writer - Edit Menu
    The Edit menu in the Report Writer contains most of the standard Windows® editing options.
  • Report Writer - Insert Menu
    The Insert menu in the Report Writer contains options that let you insert rows, columns, images, and graphs into your reports.
  • Report Writer - Format Menu
    The Format menu in the Report Writer contains options that let you format the cells, rows, and columns in your reports.
  • Report Writer - Tools Menu
    You can use the Tools menu to specify your preferences for automatically backing up and calculating the data in Report Writer reports.
