Assigning Scorecard Permissions

Use this information to review and assign a Scorecard permission level to each user.

Before you begin this task, everyone who has a performance scorecard must be set up as a user even if they do not access the Financial Performance Suite (FPS) system. To add users, navigate to Setup > Manage Users, and then select Add User.
The Scorecard permission level and Scorecard User Access determine which scorecards users can see. A default Scorecard permission level is assigned to each user based on their role. The information in this task helps you change the default Scorecard permission level for users.
  1. Select Setup > Manage Users.
  2. Select Actions icon. in the Actions column for a user, and then select User Detail.
    The User Detail page opens.
  3. Switch the Override User Role option to On.
This option is already turned on if the user's current permissions are overriding the inherited role permissions.
The Do you want to override the User Role? message appears.
  4. Select Yes.
The override message does not appear if the Override User Role option is turned on when the User Detail page opens.
  5. Select the appropriate Scorecard permission level in the Scorecard section.
    • Select Executive to allow a user access to all regions of the financial institution (FI).
    • Select Manager to allow a user access to all the incentive achievement information for the people on their team.
Tip: Before you can change the Scorecard permission level from User to Manager, you must assign the user to a custom role or a non-standard user role.
    • Select User to allow a user access to only their own scorecard results.

The Executive permission level allows users to drill into the users that are associated with them in Scorecard User Access. This permission level is the default for the Administrator standard role.

For the Manager permission level, the list of a manager's direct reports is defined in Scorecard User Access.

The User permission level is the default for all standard user roles except Administrator.

  6. Select Save.
