Parameters

You can set scorecard-related parameters on the Parameters setup page.

Example with Minimum Category Achievement set to zero percent and Maximum Category Achievement set to 100 percent.

In this example, for any of the performance categories that a user is measured on, they can score between 0–100 percent. If they score below zero for a category, then the application rounds up the user's achievement to zero. Alternately, if the user scores 150 percent of their goal for a category, then the achievement is rounded down to 100 percent.

To allow for achievements more than 100 percent, an administrator can raise the Opportunity Maximum Category Achievement setting to a higher value to allow for over-achievement. Additionally, if an administrator wants individuals to earn a negative incentive for low performance, then the Opportunity Minimum Category Achievement can be adjusted to a value, such as –20 percent to lower the limit.

These settings do not increase a user's overall incentive opportunity for the year, but the settings can allow the user to over-perform in one category to offset a shortage in another.
