Working with Key Rates

You can copy custom key rates, move custom key rates and categories, and delete custom key rates and categories on the Key Rates setup page.

Select a situation and follow the corresponding steps.

Situation	Steps
Copying a Custom Key Rate or Category	Select the custom key rate or custom key rate category that you want to copy from the list. Select Copy.
Moving a Custom Key Rate or Category in the List	Select the custom key rate or custom key rate category that you want to move. Use Move to reorder the custom key rate or custom key rate category where you want it in the list. System-generated yield curve points cannot be repositioned since they are ordered by term.
Moving a Custom Key Rate from One Category to Another	Select the custom key rate that you want to move. Change the key rate's Belongs To value to `Other` or to another custom category.
Deleting a Custom Key Rate or Category	Select the custom key rate or custom key rate category that you want to delete from the list. Select Delete. Select Delete. You cannot delete the following: System-generated categories or rates. A custom category that contains key rates. Before you can delete the category, you must first move or delete all the rates that belong to the category. A custom rate that is used elsewhere in the application, such as in ratios or other formulas. Remove the key rate from the affected ratios or formulas before it can be deleted.
