Working with Supplemental Data Accounts

You can copy, modify, move, and delete supplemental data accounts on the Supplemental Data page.

Only one user at a time is allowed to work in the Supplemental Data page. Any subsequent users accessing this setup page are placed in view-only mode.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Supplemental Data.
  2. Select the Organization or Global tab, if needed.
  3. Select a situation and follow the corresponding steps.

    Copying a Supplemental Data Account
    1. Select the supplemental data account that you want to copy from the list.
    2. Select "" Copy.

      The account's formula is duplicated for the new account.

    The system also copies the Data Type setting.

    Modifying a Supplemental Data Account
    1. Select the supplemental data account that you want to modify from the list.
    2. Change the following fields as needed:
      • Account Name
      • Decimal Places
      • Copy Data Forward
      • Ratio Code
      • Allocation Method, if available
      • Formula
    Moving a Supplemental Data Account
    1. Select the supplemental data account that you want to move from the list.
    2. Use the "" Move option to move the supplemental data account where you want it in the list.

    The order of the accounts on the Organization or Global tabs controls how the accounts appear when you select organizational or global data in the rest of the application.

    Deleting a Supplemental Data Account
    1. Select the supplemental data account that you want to delete from the list.
    2. Select "" Delete.
    3. Select Delete on the confirmation dialog box.

    You cannot delete accounts that are currently used in formulas until you remove the formula references.

  4. Select Save.
