You can create a duplicate of a booked
loan on the Pricing Opportunity page.
You cannot edit or alter a booked loan
in the Pricing Opportunity loan forms since its
instrument-level detail is brought into the application on the Monthly
Update Process page. If a loan is coming up for renewal, then you can create a
duplicate of the booked loan to see how changes to its loan structure affect the customer's
profitability.

Navigate to either the home page or the
Profitability module, select a relationship, and then select the Pricing
Opportunity link.

Select
Duplicate.
The Duplicate dialog box
opens.

Select a loan to duplicate from the Instrument to Duplicate
drop-down list.
Loans are listed in alphabetical order.
Note: If you have pages of
loans in the Pricing Opportunity instrument list, then
you must advance through the pages of the instrument list until you see the loan that
you want to duplicate. Then, the loan appears in the Instrument to
Duplicate drop-down list in the Duplicate
dialog box.

Enter a unique Instrument Name.

Select Save to create a copy of the targeted instrument.
The Duplicate dialog box closes
to show the Pricing Opportunity instrument
list.

Select the duplicated loan's name from the Pricing Opportunity
instrument list.
If you do not see the duplicated loan on the current page of the
instrument list, then you must advance through the pages until you see the loan.

Update the loan's characteristics that you want to evaluate on the Pricing
Opportunity details page.

Select Instrument Summary when you are finished to return to the
Pricing Opportunity instrument list.

Verify that the original loan is set to
In Opportunity and the duplicated loan is set to 
Out of Opportunity.

Review the profitability banner to see if the changes made to the duplicated loan make
the customer's relationship profitable.

Reverse the In Opportunity settings for the original
and duplicated loans, and then re-review the profitability banner.
When you no longer need the duplicated
loan, you can select
Delete to remove it.
