You can add new mapped translation
codes on the File Layout Setup page. You can also update an existing mapped
translation code if an account/product ID, organization, current expected credit loss (CECL)
category, or other value is mapped incorrectly.
Incorrect or unmapped translation codes can lead to exceptions in the daily or monthly
update process.

Select
Update, and then select either Daily Update
Process or Monthly Update Process from the
menu.

Select the correct Update Date or Update
Month.

Select the link in the Layout Name column for the
file.
The File Layout Setup page

Select the field from the field list.

Locate the Translations section.

Select a sorting option from the Sort By drop-down list, if
needed.

Select a situation and follow the corresponding steps.

Select Get Codes to view a list of currently unmapped
codes.
You can select the values and save codes from the Get
Codes dialog box, if they appear in the list.

Add.
- Enter the Code.
- Select the corresponding value from the drop-down list.

Copying Translation Codes |
You can copy the translation codes from Financial Performance Suite (FPS) and paste
them into another application.

Select Copy.
All translations are copied to the computer clipboard.

Open the application to paste the translation codes into.
You can paste the translation codes into any application, for example, Excel®.

Pasting Translation Codes |
You can copy and paste translation codes from Excel® into
FPS.

Copy the translation codes and corresponding values from Excel® to the computer clipboard.
The Excel® spreadsheet must
contain the Code in one column and the corresponding
value in a second column. The corresponding values must match the exact values
that are in the FPS Setup pages.
- Select Paste in the FPS Translations
section.
- Verify that each Code and corresponding value is mapped
correctly.

Deleting Translation Codes |
- Select the check box for all codes that you want to delete.
- Select
Delete.
- Select Delete to confirm the deletion.
