In-App Notifications

Depending on the notification setup preferences, notifications appear on the Notifications page when reports are generated or certain other events occur.

You can access the Notifications page by selecting the "" Notifications icon. This icon is always visible in the application's banner bar. If there are multiple notification entries that have accumulated since the last time you opened the Notifications page, then a circle with a number appears over the notifications icon. This number indicates how many notification entries are available to view.

When a new notification queues, a pop-up message briefly appears below the banner bar. For reporting notifications, you can select the View Report link in the pop-up message to download the report.

On the Notifications page, the most recent notification appears at the top of the list.

Notifications list.

If you select a report notification link, then the link takes you to the Reporting > View Reports page. Other non-reporting links describe the event and help you navigate to the affected area of the application.

To see if there are any new notifications waiting to appear, select "" Refresh.

To mark a single notification as read, select the notification. To mark multiple notifications as read, use the check boxes to select notifications, and then select Mark As Read.

To remove notifications from the list, select one or more check boxes and then select "" Delete.

Note: If you do not remove old reporting notifications, then they automatically expire and disappear from the list after seven days. You can save your report favorites to external storage areas to keep the data longer. Layouts for saved favorites do not expire.
