Use this information to understand the methods to resolve different errors
that can occur during the daily update process.
The following resolution methods are available depending on the exception
type:
- Changes to Mapping
- This method is available when the data in a field is not defined in
the mapping. An additional drop-down list becomes available allowing you to map
the unidentified data appropriately. For example, if this method is used, and an
unknown string such as 999999 is found in a record's
Application ID field, then you can select the
appropriate ID from the drop-down list.
- Temporary Correction
- This method selection causes a Correction
Value field to appear that allows you to add or select a value
from a list of options. The value is only used for the month or day being
processed. For example, if a blank interest rate is encountered, then enter the
interest rate in the Correction Value field.
- Reject
- This method is always available in the
Resolution drop-down list. Rejected records are
ignored and are not included in the monthly/daily update.
Note: Only the Changes to
Mapping method provides a permanent fix for specific errors.
