Working with Basic Prepay Tables

You can edit basic prepay tables. You can export the basic prepay tables setup information for a specific What If scenario to a CSV or a Microsoft® Excel® file. You can delete tables and scenarios.

Any setup change to a table affects all accounts that are linked to the table. Also, if you delete a table, the Prepayments setting for any affected accounts on the Chart of Accounts page is changed from Prepay Tables to None.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Prepay Tables > Basic Tables.
  2. Select a What If scenario.
  3. Select a situation and follow the corresponding steps.

    Edit a Table
    1. Select a Table Name and update it, if needed.
    2. Select or clear Scenarios to determine which rate shocks the table uses.
    3. Select a new Method, if needed.
    4. Select Save.
    Delete a Table or Scenario
    1. Select Delete. for the row that you want to delete.
    2. Select Delete on the confirmation dialog box.

    You can only delete one table or scenario at a time.

    If you try to delete a table that is referenced on the Chart of Accounts page, then the application informs you but allows you to continue.

    You cannot delete the Flat Rate scenario.

    Export Table Setup Information
    1. Select Export.
    2. Select the type of file that you want to export:
      • CSV
      • Excel

    When you select one of these options, the system sends you a notification, and the exported file appears in the Reporting > View Reports grid.
