You can add, paste as, protect, edit,
or delete a subledger on the Forecasting Detail
page.
To watch a training video that explains this process, enroll in the FPS Distributed
Forecasting - Forecasting with Subledger Accounts training video course on Jack Henry
University. You can also enroll in the Distributed Forecasting in Financial Performance
Suite learning plan.
Note: Forecasting with subledgers
is only available for what-if models set with the Allow Subledgers
option set to Yes.
Subledger accounts let you budget with
greater detail than what the forecasting grid provides. Examples
of places where forecasting with subtotals is beneficial are when you are working with
employee salaries, fixed asset purchases, and travel expenses. You can add subledgers to
balance sheet and non-interest income/expense accounts.
-
Select from the menu.
-
Select the Account Type that you want to forecast.
-
Select an Account to work with.
-
Select a situation for your subledger and follow the corresponding steps.
