Working with Organizations

You can modify, move, or delete an organization in the organization tree on the Organization page.

You cannot delete the institution or root organization. You can delete other organizations, but you must combine their data into another organization first.
  1. Navigate to Setup > Organization.
  2. Select an organization from the organization tree.
  3. Select a situation and follow the corresponding steps.

    Modifying an Organization
    1. Change the following fields as needed:
      • Name
      • Organization ID
      • Belongs To
      • Balancing
      • Chart of Accounts Setup, if available
    2. Change the following fields as needed if your institution is licensed for Organization Profitability:
      • Include in Transfer Funds Pricing
      • Time Frame
      • Treasury Unit
    Note: You cannot change an organization's Organization Type.
    Moving an Organization
    1. Select the Belongs To setting to nest an organization beneath a different consolidated organization.
    2. Select an organization, and then use the "" Move option to drag the organization up or down within the same tier of the tree list.
    Deleting an Organization
    1. Select "" Delete.

      To prevent the loss of data, you must combine the organization to delete with an existing organization.

    2. Select the organization to receive the data from the one that you are deleting in the Delete & Combine Confirmation dialog box.
    3. Select Delete.
  4. Select Save to retain any changes made to organizations or the organization tree.
