A solo relationship is created on the Monthly Update Process page when a customer/member is brought into the application that is not associated with a relationship.
The solo relationship is given the same name as the customer/member. If the customer/member is added to a user-defined relationship later, then the application removes the customer/member and its related instruments from the solo relationship. The solo relationship still exists as an empty relationship.
If the customer/member is deleted from the user-defined relationship or if the user-defined relationship itself is deleted, then the customer/member and its related instruments are reassociated with the appropriate solo relationship.
