In the Financial Performance Suite (FPS) Function Manager Excel®
add-in, you can select a Data Type to determine what type of formula is
inserted into each cell and to help you build reports quickly.
The available Data Types are:
- Data Reference
- This Data Type is used to insert formulas that reference
data that is defined in FPS. The available reference options are based on your
institution's FPS licenses. For example, if available, you can choose to
reference account, allocation, chart, data item, EAR/EVE scenarios,
organization, prepayment, rule set, source month, or time frame data. You can
reference data references in other formulas.
- Data Value
- This Data Type is used to insert formulas with numerical
values that are defined in FPS.
- Quick Fill
- This Data Type is used to perform a quick setup for new
reports using data that is defined in FPS.
- Functions
- This Data Type is used to insert time frame formulas
based on the fiscal year-end defined in FPS. You can insert formulas for
Days in Time Frame(s), Months in
Year, Days in Year, or Days
YTD.
