Copying Formulas from the FPS Function Manager

You can copy formulas to string multiple formulas together quickly in your Excel® workbook from the Financial Performance Suite (FPS) Function Manager Excel® add-in.

Copying formulas allows you to string multiple formulas together without overwriting data in the currently selected cell.
  1. Select the FPS Function Manager add-in on the Home tab in Excel®.
    The add-in opens in an Excel® panel.
  2. Sign in to the add-in, if needed.
  3. Select a Data Type.
    The available fields update based on your selection.
  4. Select an option for each available field.
    The available fields can update based on each of your selections.
  5. Select Copy.
    The formula is copied to your computer clipboard.
  6. Select the Formula Bar for the Excel® cell that you want to paste the copied formula into.
  7. Enter the operation that you want to perform, such as +, -, *, or /, to the end of the existing formula.
  8. Paste the copied formula into the Formula Bar.
  9. Verify that the formatting of the new formula is correct.
    You can delete the equal sign that is pasted at the beginning of the copied formula.

  10. Press Enter on your keyboard to calculate the new formula.
