Resetting Your Password

On the Financial Performance Suite (FPS) sign-in page, you can change your password using the Forgot Your Password link.

FPS passwords expire every 90 days.

Users are locked out of their accounts after six failed password attempts.

As an alternative to logging in with a username and password, you can choose to use the Azure Active Directory feature. This functionality requires working with your internal IT staff for assistance with the setup.

  1. Access FPS at https://prod.profitstarsfps.com.
  2. Select Forgot Your Password.
  3. Enter your username in the Sign In Name field.
    Note: If your username is incorrect, then you cannot proceed. Contact your administrator for assistance.
  4. Enter your Email Address.
  5. Select Send Verification Code.
    A six-digit verification code is sent to your email address.
  6. Open the email and retrieve the verification code.
  7. Enter the verification code in the Verification Code field.
    If you do not receive a verification code, then select Send New Code to attempt to receive another code.
  8. Select Verify Code.
  9. Select Continue.
  10. Enter the new password that you want to use for this account in the Enter New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

    A strong password is required. Password requirements include:

    • Must be at least eight characters long
    • Must contain at least three of the following:

      • Uppercase letters
      • Lowercase letters
      • Numbers
      • Symbols
    • Cannot match any of your four last passwords
    • Cannot contain spaces
    • Cannot be the same as your username
  11. Select Finish.
    A confirmation message appears when your password is reset successfully. The application also sends a password reset notification to your authentication email address.
