In the Financial Performance Suite (FPS) Function Manager Excel®
add-in, you can select a Data Type, and then make additional field
selections to build your report.
As you work through the fields, earlier selections sometimes determine which
fields are available later. The fields that can appear in the
add-in include the following:
- Reference Type
- Select the type of data that is referenced when Data
Reference is selected as the Data Type.
The available reference options are based on your institution's FPS licenses.
For example, if available, you can choose to reference account, allocation,
chart, data item, EAR/EVE scenarios, organization, prepayment, rule set, source
month, or time frame data.
- Category
- Select which category that you want to reference in the formula. For example,
you can choose to reference balance sheet, income/expense, key rate,
supplemental data, ratios, summary gap, EAR/EVE, or liquidity risk data.
- Data Item
- Select the data item to reference in the formula. Depending on the selected
Category, this field can be read-only.
- Account/Code
- Select if you want to reference an Account Name or a
Ratio Code in the formula.
- Account
- Select the account to reference in the formula.
- Allocation Type
- Select if you want to reference Pre-Allocated or
Post-Allocated data in the formula.
- Function
- Select an FPS time frame formula to insert in the selected cell. You can insert
formulas for Days in Time Frame(s), Months in
Year, Days in Year, or Days
YTD.
- Include GL #
- Select how you want to reference the GL number in the formula. You can reference
it as Name Only, GL-Name, or
Name-GL.
- Organization
- Select the organization to reference in the formula.
- Prepayment Type
- Select if you want to reference Contractual or
Forecasted data in the formula.
- Row/Column
- Select which data you want to show as report rows and which data you want to
show as report columns. You can select between accounts, organizations, and time
frames.
- Rule Set
- Select the allocation rule set to reference in the formula.
- Scenario
- Select the EAR/EVE scenario to reference in the formula.
- Source Month
- Select this field to open a calendar showing the months that you can select to
reference in the formula. You can only select one source month for each
reference. You can also specify whether the selected source month is
Floating or Fixed.
- Time Frame
- Select this field to open a calendar showing the months that you can select to
reference in the formula. You can only select one month for each reference. You
can also specify whether the selected month is Floating
or Fixed.
- What If Model
- Select the what-if model to reference in the formula.
